I was born and raised in Inglewood, California, where survival and soul walk hand in hand. From the jump, I wasn’t the loudest in the room, but I was always the one paying attention—soaking up wisdom from conversations, studying people, and asking the questions most were too afraid to say out loud. Life didn’t hand me an easy script, but instead of folding under the pressure, I turned every obstacle into fuel.

I became a mother before most people had even figured out who they were. That path came with pain, sacrifice, and lessons no classroom could ever teach—but it forged me into a woman who refuses to break. Today, I’m not just a mother, I’m a grandmother (and yes, I’m holding it down for the Hot Grandmas Club). Every chapter of my story carries its scars, its triumphs, and its grit, and I stand on all of it with pride.

Despite treading the waters of becoming another statistic, I always found my way back to the arts. Creativity wasn’t just an escape—it was my lifeline. I birthed a small event planning company that gave me the honor of shaping moments people would never forget. I’ve been a hairstylist since I was sixteen, creating beauty with my hands long before I knew the power of my voice. I’ve dabbled in photography and graphic design, chasing the light and bending colors until they told their own stories. And now, as I work toward my Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Digital Cinematography, I’m walking fully into the world that’s been calling me all along.

But if you strip it all down, writing has always been my first love. Words are my heartbeat. I am a storyteller, but not just in the sense of words on a page. My life is a story—a living, breathing reminder that resilience is art, authenticity is power, and our voices are the most dangerous weapons we own. Whether I’m writing, creating, or just sitting across from someone in a raw conversation, I show up fully—real, unpolished, and evolving right before your eyes.
